hi steve! thanx for the scans. unfortunately there is so much grey in the text it's pretty hard to read. here's a very simple trick for scanning newspapers: place a black sheet of paper (gotta find one first though ;-) ) behind the page you wanna scan, this will make the backside of the page not shine through and you'll have a much better result.
