



The images posted here give a first look at a few of the pages inside the proposed Adam Ant Art book. It’s a luxuriously produced large format book with plenty of room to show off Adam’s fascinating artwork. These sketches and jottings – almost all of them never seen before - give a unique and very personal insight into Adam’s work and inspiration.
The images here show the opening pages from the ‘Sketches & Ideas’ chapter and three spreads from inside the chapter. These are:
* Cover ideas for Adam’s 1983 hit Puss ‘n Boots
* Set and costume designs for an appearance on the BBC’s Top of the Pops television show in 1983, sketched over a diary page
* Another diary page with jottings for the styling of the video to Strip, the follow-up single to Puss ‘n Boots. The subsequent video was famously banned by the BBC
